Nah, it's not even that. It's basically the way the system is set up. Cops have a wide berth to take deadly action if they feel their lives are in danger. They basically create this impression that their lives are always in danger, so anytime they get put up on charges, those charges fall through. We see it happen all the time. Basically, the only time there's even a chance of them being held accountable is in situations like with George Floyd where the incident is so egregious it can't be denied and there is visual evidence.

This country legit brain washes and indoctrinates people from basically birth to believe that cops are these super herores who put their lives on the line every moment of every day.
