I got you. I was recently featured in a news article. I got art in NYC at Wild Geese Gallery.

We aren't encouraged to be artists for the most part. If we pick it up, it's usually later in life. Before I got into computers heavy, I wanted to have a career as a comic artist, then later industrial design specializing in automotive design.
Same here. I used to draw as a kid and wanted to be a comic artist when I got into Marvel and DC, but I did art in middle school and High school. I used to paint as well. I am too much of a perfectionist and got frustrated when something did not come out how I wanted so I stopped. I gave away or got rid of my paintings from back then.

You gotta stick with it. When Picasso said "don't chase perfection, it doesn't exist" I felt that and said fuck it. Art school teaches perfection and I feel that kills the creative drive in young artists outside of home life stimuli
