Man I used to love renting games and movies... At weekends used to hit up Blockbuster or whatever with friends and find a game to session...

Good thing is in between playing video games we would be outside on bikes and doing actual kid stuff too, like climbing trees etc...

I believe it, but sadly not everyone had access to computers like that in the 90s.
I didn't get into online gaming until the 1st Xbox came out. Had to connect to my computer to get online with it because Xblive wasn't out yet.

Y'all really missed out on some of the best online gaming ever. GameSpy to get connected for Quake/QuakeWorld, Q2, Q3, Unreal, Unreal Tournament, and a huge list of multiplayer games

I think I used gamespy for cheat codes. Played unreal tournament on PC when I was a kid

I had Out of This World for my Atari ST back in '91. Never beat it tho. Flashback on the SegaCD was my shit tho. Took a loooong ass time but I eventually beat it.

Good game...yes. Classic. But fucc dat game b/c my homeboys always beat me one on one. Cheating azzz muthafuccas. I didn't have the game, so I'd go over to their crib to play it. So of course they was more familiar with the layouts and knew how to navigate it.

Classic game...but it can kiss my azzz to hell and back!

The Egyptian level on Goldeneye where the golden gun is in a display case, I could never get the floor pattern to get the gun so I quit and never tried again.
 
I remember the last time I played Goldeneye, I went 1on1 with this dude. He beat me three matches in a row and I didn't get a single kill. He has spawn trapping down to a science.
 
Is Golden Eye like the original COD??? Like first person split screen, hunting each down and shooting them??? Duke Nukem was only single player from memory...

Nah I believe Duke Nukem was multi-player. That said that game was heavily modded back in the day, so may the base game was single player.
