These are not related. I saw marc go in on piers and I agree with him. Maher isn't even making the same argument piers was.
Piers was arguing that any DEI hire is unqualified or not as qualified as whatever white person that may have got passed over. Marc corrected him multiple times n piers didn't wanna understand.
Maher is not saying that. He's acknowledging qualified or not the top priority should be that you can carry someone trapped in a fire outside the fire. Which is why he quoted the fire fighter lady as victim blaming any man trapped in a fire "he shouldn't have been there" which anyone who has half a functioning brain should be able to acknowledge that's an insane thing for any fire fighter to say.
Also conveniently ignored at least half of the rest of the vid but that's par for the course
