FEATURED Fat Joe Calls Out FBAs and Tariq Nasheed

test
41% of black Africans are disembarked in Brazil, 48% went to the Central America, the Caribbean and other parts of South America, and then 5% went to South Carolina, which was the gateway for slavery in America until 1805. The other 6% was what was bossed to death on the voyage. Then the breeding machine was kicked up several notches.

Wah di story seh? Yuh from Guyana???

Funny thing is, black American culture is global.

How they gonna say that we have no culture when we influence the way they walk, talk, act, etcā€¦

Hell, we taught the whole world how to make GOOD music, thatā€™s why everybody imitates it.

Itā€™s wild how they wanna imitate people who ā€œhave no cultureā€.
whiteman-jew hiding our accomplishments from us and then white-packaging it for the world aka elvis, vanilla ice, nsync, that shit stephanie mills said was right on. "white people love R&B but they don't want it from us".

Fat Joe is out of line, things don't get funky until someone who is not FBA speak out about FBAs or tries to shit on FBAS. For every action, there's going to be a reaction and many of the times, you'll find the 1st punch coming from cats that have their countries flag waving in their avi.

I get down with all folks, always have and always will for the most part until the disrespect comes, that's with my own linage also. The disrespect has to stop, Rewind things back to 90s, those who were there, picture how life was back then and who ran Rap, R&B, Blues, Gospel, most dominant music genres in the game? Would Fat Joe said some shit like this back then? No. Would Fat Joe gotten on national TV on ANY station and said some shit like that and got away with it? No

Would non-FBAs cats would have said anything back then NO, of course you had your enclaves of folks who all lived amongst each other, but in areas where FBAs were heavy present at, No, that shit wouldn't have flown? Folks knew their place. Immigrants would come to our school, yes we would talk about them on how they were dressing, seeing somebody in church shoes and socks outside of church was something different to us lol and we clowned them about it, along with other things, just like we clowned our fellow FBA brothers and sisters.

If you came to school, and you didn't have jokes "just like majority of black immigrants" yo ass got it everyday, until we got tired, some got bullied. From the name, the church shoes, the odor, the way one talk, you would catch these jokes and get these laughs on yo ass.

That would be embarrassing to the new kid black "immigrant" they rarely had any friends, most of them were weak, bad at sports, had fucked up haircuts, "man yo daddy cut yo hair huh" lol, didn't know rap, lame, they didn't know the FBA lingo/slang, the chicks FBAs wouldn't fuck with them, they too, talked about them, now that they are grown and now in 2024, everybody is so called somebody, now I gotta get my lick back from when I was in elementary, middle and high school but folks don't understand, everybody got joked on in school, including FBAs.

That's what we do. I'm not saying all, but I believe some of what I said is the reason behind the hate towards FBAs, childhood shit that folks can't let go, and of course life itself.

FBAs are the reason, your mama and papa got they asses over here in the 1st place.

This FBAs stuff actually made me go back and trace my family roots, sit down with the elders to understand my linage much better.

We are just different, not better, but we just different.

Black American culture is global because American culture is global. And thats not a bad thing at all. It has shown that globally certain things among Black people are universal. It's stupid when people from any group try to turn it into a designation of who is Black and who isn't. And that's mainly what I see from ADOS/FBA people. Them telling non American Black people that they aren't Black. That's not to say foreign Blacks haven't taken on some of the negative imagery that gets portrayed, but it also goes both ways as there still is alot of ignorance taken in on non American Black people too. And it feeds those idiots who promote this nonsense

What's North American culture? Because I don't think you're talking about South America

What exactly did he do?
Refuses to color inside the lines

Iā€™m confused about something.

If heā€™s calling people by their real names, wouldnā€™t that mean that these people are telling him their real names?

Why would you tell somebody (who you donā€™t know in real life) your real name on a message board (especially THIS message board) if you donā€™t want them revealing it?

Or am I missing something?

No

But let's say that is the case... If someone told you their government in private, why would you then make it public cause y'all have a disagreement?

Dwayne was the only person on this board that changed his username to his government cause that's what he wanted to be referred to as over Shizlansky.

Breaking news and this may come as a shock to you but people that have met here do on occasion have relationships (romantic, platonic, etc) outside of this site and personal information gets shared. Sometimes they remain cool, sometimes they don't and still even then, no personal information is shared with the rest of us cause integrity still exists.

Sooo.....to be clear, FBA's can talk about Fat Joe, but Fat Joe cant reply back talking about them?

If Fat Joe is lying about something, then the correction can be made. Fat Joe lied about PR having a hand in starting Hip-Hop

No FBA was even thinking about a Fat Joe up until that point. He got on shows stating that it was a of 50/50 thing with this Hip Hop genre, when that is a lie.

Telling the Truth Aint Hating - Young Turk.

Now that his lie has been called out, Fat Joe is the one who is trying to talk down on FBAs and others. He's the one who is taking it to another level. All folks (FBAs and others) were saying is that what you're saying outta your mouth about this Rap shit, is not true

You been eating off FBA culture your whole entire, your whole career was made by FBA rap and r&B artists and now you wanna try and shit on FBAs, that's a problem, folks don't rock with that motion. I don't rock like that with niggas in my real life.

Fat Joe deserves what's happening

That's like Fat Joe came up off bounce muisc, used bounce artists to get his rap career popping, now he's saying his people had a hand in creating bounce music and the dances and now when he's told that's lie, he's shittin on the people who created bounce music, aint no telling what that boy may encounter if he did some shit like that with that sector of music.

So FBA's never talked down on Fat Joe and other groups, it was actually Fat Joe talking down on FBA's and other ethnic groups?

When Fat Joe made Lean Back or All the Way Up or What's luv, Welcome 2 NY, etc
Make it Rain

Who was his core audience supporting those songs??

What ethnicity were the rappers and singers on those records with him?

In those years when he came out with those records, what were FBAs saying about him in the media that was negative or offensive?

Let me preface this by saying I've disliked Fat Joe for years before any idiot thinks explaining what happened in context, a word ABW hates, means its a cape. With that said...them FBA/ADOS folks on social media come at any and everybody they deem not "Black". And by that not from the US. So engaging with them in any way is pretty pointless because it's rarely if ever actual discussions and more just them talking about how nobody else should call themselves Black.

In regards to Fat Joe and the whole thing about latinos having a hand in the start of hip hop...well it's true. They did. Also by all accounts Kool Herc, a Jamaican immigrant, is credited with being one of the founders of this...so the entire idea that it was solely a Black American thing is also not true. It's a mixture of a bunch of different things that led up to the beginning of hip hop. And even many of the first DJs, MCs, breakers etc were 1st generation Caribbean immigrants to NY or fresh off the boat their damn selves. So the whole FBA/ADOS trying to rewrite history is silly.

There is plenty beauty in Black American culture in the US and it's seen on a daily basis. That doesn't mean that Black American culture hasn't also been influenced by the many Black immigrants that have also came to this country as well. And acknowledging that doesn't diminish anything else at all. It in fact adds to it
