NBATV could be so much better than it is. There's so many TV shows they could be doing similar to NFL Network and the top 10 series or the top 100 players countdown before every season

Question is nbatv in the US regional? Here it's mostly focused raptors content because I think the raptors actually own nbatv Canada but they do a shit job as well with the content. Shit has no motion.

Lack of rivalries is a problem. I don't like this buddy buddy shit. Sports is about competition and as we see with rivalry week in college football, hate and rivalries always bring something extra to the game.

Even in the NFL, we still have rivalries
 
In my perfect world, the NBA would have a streaming app where every single game runs through it. You pay for the app, you get to watch whatever game you want. No blackout restrictions. Say goodbye to all the local, cable and other streaming channels. Centralize that shit to one hub. If you don't want to pay for the app, you don’t want to watch basketball.

App subscriptions and commercial advertisement sales is where the money will be made.

The NBA is the vehicle for new streaming platforms to sucker in young people into contracts to watch their favorite teams.

It's no different than what the NFL was for cable companies back in the day.

Most NBA fans don't watch games on TV.

NBA don't care about traditional media numbers because TV is dead and their fans don't watch it.

Their fans only care about Inside the NBA and hated the ESPN cast. And honestly, their fans don't get their NBA content from ESPN anyway.

The NBA is an Internet centric, independent content creator, driven brand unlike the NFL.

If you are over 30, the NBA don't care about you crying about 3s. They want your kid to stop pirating their games and keep posting on social media.

The NBA keep hyping LeBron and Steph on TV for old motherfuckers because y'all ain't watching the Magic or the Nets or Houston anyway. Meanwhile real fans keeping eyes on what Lamelo, Franz Wagner and Houston is doing. They are watching breakdown videos of the Grizzlies new offense.

They ain't talking about TV ratings. If you care about TV ratings, you are a casual and old. The NBA's TV ratings been declining for years.

Based on this I do walk back my lack of personality point a little. The NBA does have some legit stars, but they don’t get promoted as such. NBA needs to get more of these players out there in the media. And needs to let them be who they are unfiltered.
