Luger was never an option considering the stunt he pulled at the first Nitro. Macho Man was in the same boat.

They should have had Jericho go to team WCW. I can't remember where Big Show was at this time.

Big Show was in OVW during the Invasion.

Anyways

Imagine if Vince doesnt blow his whole load (pause) and hurries the Invasion angle like a greedy bitch he is and waits the year for those contracts to be up.

To start 2002 he would have had:

-a returning Triple H

- You could have started the Ric Flair part owner angle then with him leading WCW as opposed to Shane

-NWO debuts or at the very least Hogan returns

-Goldberg debuts

- With the debuting top WCW guys, maybe Austin doesnt leave the company since theres an Invasion angle with the main WCW guys

-You possibly lure Sting over

-You still have a newly debut'd Brock Lesnar

Now the entire Invasion angle looks totally different and WCW has legit 5 top guys (Booker, DDP, Flair or Sting, Hogan, Goldberg) along with the ECW squad.

This shit would have been gas when you consider the potential roster. This isnt even including The Rock who by this time still would have left for Hollywood so he could have been threaded in at any point where team WWE was down bad.

Austin was part of the alliance but this is when Jericho turned heel & Angle was revealed as double crossing the allliance.

I’ll give them credit. They tried but that angle is the most botched angle in wrestling history
