And who knows how Kurt's career would have played out then. He would still be one of the GOATS but being put in that prominent spot as the top WWE babyface in that Invasion angle made him a superstar. Those matches against Austin at Summerslam and Unforgiven were GOAT'd
You know what I noticed about WWE in 2002? The PPV names and wrestlers that would have been available would have made too much sense. I actually had a few ideas as to how creative could have been so much better at that time

That angle wouldn't have worked without Sting. What would have been the point of waiting for the NWO?
