I’m debating a known battle rapper on FB who supports this bullshit lawsuit and is calling me a stan.
He called me a Drake hater and I could see how ppl could think that because I’ve clearly sided with K Dot but Drake was my most played artist according to Spotify in 2023.
Like I enjoy the messiness but I also have enjoyed a lot of Drake’s music and respect his pen when he bars up and I’m pretty sure he wrote it.

Yes, because he’s suing for something that we all already know to be true. He’s only suing because he lost when the scales were closer to even for the 1st time in his career.
For starters his supporting facts are frivolous at best. But the perception will be that he won the eventual suit because the system boosted Kendrick to keep Drake down (that’s the picture being painted) when the reality is when they dig into it he’d win because that’s just how the system works, has been working, and he knows because it’s worked for him in the past.

I've been hearing about Drake and UMG being at odds for a while now. There's a billion dollar contract involved with possible shady practices being done.
I wouldn't be surprised if Drake is right, but it's terrible timing.
It's all about perspective tho. Maybe Drake feels getting out of a bad slave deal is worth magnifying the L he's already holding.
