Penta's present isn't with AEW for much longer.

Earlier this Summer, Fightful revealed that Penta's and Fenix's AEW deals would be up in the fall, barring injury time being added. As we've learned, injury time was added, perhaps in part to AEW learning that there was communication between WWE and the Lucha Bros. However, Penta's deal is coming up soon.

Fightful Select has learned that word within All Elite Wrestling is that Penta's deal will be up next week, and he'll effectively become a free agent, barring some unforeseen changes. He is expected to have interest from WWE, although nobody in an official capacity there has ever mentioned him to Fightful. There are already indie companies looking to book him in high profile matches should be become available.

During the AEW Full Gear media scrum, there was a question raised about the potential return of Adam Copeland with Tony Khan praising Copeland and looking forward to having him back.

PWInsiderElite.com is told that Copeland has been cleared for physicality but is not expected back with AEW (at least not regularly) until he is done with shooting material for the second season of Disney+'s Percy Jackson, where he plays Ares, The God of War. Hollywood sources indicate the season is currently shooting and is expected to wrap this January.

We are also told he was very involved in doing what he could locally to assist after Hurricane Helene ravaged Asheville, NC where he resides.

Copeland was in attendance last week at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions in Florida, where he was promoting a "Rated R Superstar" Player One Amusement Group drop-prize game that will feature Rated-R Superstar Championship Belts and we are told he looked good and was moving around well.

A few readers have asked about the potential of Copeland returning 1/1/25 at the AEW Fight For The Fallen event, which will be the first MAX simulcast and will emanate from Asheville. It's certainly possible and would be a "perfect" moment sort of deal obviously, but we haven't heard any specific potential return dates.

Stay tuned.

While WWE is in the midst of preparing to crown the first-ever United States Women's Champion on 12/14 as part of the NBC Saturday Night's Main Event, that is not the only new championship being planned within the company.

PWInsiderElite.com can confirm that planning is underway for the Raw brand to introduce a WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship.

The expectation among those we've spoke with is that it would likely start to get rolled out after The United States title has been established.

Jordynne grace being under 30 idk why that was a shocker to me. It feel like she been wrestling for a minute. Which she probably just started at a real earlier age
