The Official DCU Thread

If they made a series and made it a comedy and Alan Tudyk plays him like he plays him on Harley Quinn I'd watch

I wanna see some villains we havent seen before.. not the same couple ones over and over "reimagined"
Nah get to the shits and do it properly this time. Don't make me wade through insignificant bullshit for the sake of it being something different. Don't get bled for your money. Excellence should be the minimum. They've had several chances.

Nah Claydace a dope villian and had some of the best episodes in BTAS. He def is deserving for a Batman movie just not a solo.

I’ve said it a few times, Clayface can be a master of disguise, wrecking shit. Maybe find out Batman’s secret identity and pose as Bruce Wayne doing fuck shit. At the end it’s revealed he’s assumed another identity to play a role in later movies/shows.

It has to be something more than the terrorist angle though. Maybe a personal vendetta against Batman or Bruce for some misunderstood reason. Maybe the head of a corporate competitor to Wayne Enterprises who wants to bring Bruce’s company down or something. Give Pattinson the opportunity to play a different type of person and stretch his acting chops.

Pattinsons batman is dcu or standalone? I still have no idea what's going on in that respect. Especially with Colin Ferrells penguin now coming into the fold seemingly expanding that world.

Edit, I see what you mean now. As far as I know it’s standalone outside of Gunn’s upcoming DCEU. This world is Matt Reeve’s vision.

It is confusing, especially once Gunn’s vision gets going. Especially if he has a different Batman. If he’s smart he’ll let Reeve’s run everything Batman and pull Pattinson in for team ups.

Matt Reeves Batman and those movies are out of Gunn's universe. I think they're supposed to get labeled Elseworld or something

The way you spelled that has left me just as confused. Do you mean "out" has in outside or in? I think you mean outside. English is a tricky language. 😅
