My recent samples...I've tried Kayali silk santal before and I wasn't wow'd by it, but people keep hyping it up so I got another sample to try again. YSL libre lastest flanker, libre is one my favorite perfumes and I haven't been disappointed by a flanker yet. Amouage guidance is another really hyped up fragrance I've been wanting to try. I did a spray on my hand and idk how I feel about it yet. It is a beast mode fragrance though one spray has filled up my whole room.
I wore Guidance yesterday and the opening is very different, the pear with frankincense throws the scent off for me. The magic happens in the dry down once the pear disappears and the woods become more prominent...it's absolutely beautiful. The other big plus is that it last ALL day and people will definitely smell you. I can still smell hints of it this morning from the clothes hamper.

Centaurus: A nice venture out for the Creed house. this smells fantastic. It's like a mix of Carlisle, Grand Soir, and Red tobacco. However with that being said, this isn't the same niche-premium quality that we're used to from the house of Creed. This is more of a designer-level leaning fragrance. Something that could be mass-appealing almost. It's unique, but it's also like " I've smelled this before for way cheaper" in a way. It's very warm and spicy with that cinnamon, pink pepper, cardamom, and tobacco leading the way to give you a bit of warmth before that sandalwood smoothes it out. You gotta be drinking some cabernet while wearing this. Very good. Very good. Nice longevity for about 6-8 hours and projection is good for the first 2 hours and then it tapers off and gets close to the skin

Verdict: For the money, Pass. If you can get this on the extreme discount for around $250 and under, grab a bottle. Otherwise just grab Red tobacco or Boundless. Both cheaper and give you basically the same thing, especially boundless.

Delphinus: The weaker of the two. Almond, incense, and leather. More of a gourmand than Centaurus, but doesn't last as long and isn't nearly as interesting. The heliotrope and almond gives this sort of a cherry vibe similar to Tom Ford Lost cherry smoke. Very warm feel with that bourbon vanilla smoothing the edges. This has been done before, but not as refined. Whatever tone this is giving off... this is the most well-blended, premium, and refined version of it that you can find on the market atm.

Verdict: Same as above. For the money, Pass. If you can get this on the extreme discount for around $250 and under, grab it

Black Lacquer: TOM! TOMMY! TOE-MÁS! Welcome back to the fold my guy. Your last few been a little ehhhh but you back in the game with this one champ. Elegant, smooth, attention-grabbing. This is what Ebene Fume should have been. This is dark. You get notes of ink, vinyl, black pepper, and rum with some of that ebony wood mixed in with resins and incense...this is what a high-priced cigar smells like. This is what luxury smells like. Lasts damn near all day and projects well for most of that time too

Verdict: Pass. Get CDG black. This is way too overpriced.

Yeah I got that Boundless a few months ago instead of Centaurus. I'm just waiting for the weather to change down here in Houston before I break it out
