When you say republicans, are you speaking republicans having it banned on a state level?

It was in the state's lap,

If so, should women be more so upset with their state reps rather than Trump? or am I missin something, again, I'm not caping for the dude, I'm just trying to understand their plight little bit better and make it make sense to me
Republican controlled states want it banned. They are upset with Trump because he appointed the Supreme Court justices that reversed Roe that even allowed the state to control it.

And he proudly took credit.

The anger at Trump comes from him apppointing judges who openly lied about their intentions on Roe v Wade and Trump bragging about being the one to kill it. Him taking credit for it is why people blame him for it. The vast majority of the country disagreed with the decision and because he wanted to be the face of it he gets the blame

Think of this scenario:

You walk into a room of 100 people

You ask them “who agrees that drugs should be legal”?

60 of them raise their hand and say YES…the other 40 folds their arms and say NO!

Would it be right to have the other 40 to submit and comply since their the losing number?

Unfortunately this is what separates a democracy from a republic

Democracy looks at hands being raised…A Republic has to acknowledge how things work for everyone despite peer pressure

Why can't a middle ground be reach, in regards to certain amounts/drugs are legal. etc.

Would that keep the persona of a democracy in tact?

He’s against abortion being a federal issue and having the federal government involved

He’s leaving it up to the state.

And there will be restrictions as to how the abortions happen….he’s against the abortion pill or anything sent by mail

Also timing matters…he’s against any form of abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy

He’s basically against sexual and reproductive matters being a nation-wide issue. It’s a state/civil matter not a federal one and due to differing beliefs everyone has the right to support or not support it
When Republicians start enforcing the Comstock Act which would basically make abortion illegal nationwide. I don't want to hear shit...

The thing is, give his history how could be deluded enough to think he was ever telling the truth about Project 2025?

Bro…this is going to be an endless back and forth over who we think is lying

The question is…who ISNT lying?

All of us are literally taking these politicians at face value without any guarantee on how they are really going to do things.

That’s why I didn’t vote this year….but I knew Trump was going to win because Dems have a way of being sketchy and using sketchy tactics

I don’t see Project 2025 as EVER happening

Because not all republicans favor it and not all conservatives are the same.

Here's my question, Roe v Wade, what was their "the judges" justification of them overturning this?

Can that be done?

Do you think Trump and his buddies would push this into law?
Trump does not have to run for president again, so there’s nothing moderating him at this point.

He can and will do whatever he wants, especially if he gets the House. He’d control the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. Seperation of powers would be no more.

That’s why democracy was such a big deal for this election. He can literally do whatever he wants with the right people in place.

But the thing is they don’t need all of the republicans to be on board with it. They hold the house and the senate, so if some of them vote with the democrats, it doesn’t matter.

If the abortion is on the state level, could a democratic senate, house, governor of a state overturn an abortion ban?

Is there racism and misogy involved to a certain extent? Yes. But the results are showing that people deem the Democrats the party of the elites and for megadonors. You invite multiple people on stage who are out of touch with what's going on with the average American. They're not affected by rising grocery prices or the housing/rental market.

Republicans are richer and they are the party running a literal Billionaire (allegedly cause you know he a Broke Boy) yet somehow people have convinced themselves that it's the Democrats that are the elite.

If you took a picture of every Republican in Congress, that picture would be 95% white and majority male.

If you took a picture of every Democrat in Congress, that picture would closely reflect the demographic makeup of the United States by gender and race.

I agree. Republicans love giving tax cuts to billionaires and supporting corporations over the average American. But people don't see that

You just can’t “ban” abortions…it’s a medical issue that is thousands of years old

Due to moral beliefs many states rightfully are against abortion UNDER CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS

exceptions and restrictions are CRITICAL in understanding the process as to why and when it is taken place

This is why knowing state laws are just as important as anything else

After a certain period the baby is pretty much developed which brings to question as to when abortions should be done if necessary

Do you really think people should have the right to abort their baby whenever they want for whatever reason?

Where are the restrictions and held accountabilities?

If a woman is raped or dying is one thing…but most women with sense would see a doctor long before the pregnancy is even in question if rape were the case

It takes about 12 weeks to know if you’re officially developing. How long does it take to take action…up to the final months???

There has to be balance and moderation on BOTH ends

There's so many things wrong with this post.
