Oba Femi Rumor Update
On October 28th, a rumor began to spread on social media that Oba Femi said his goodbyes to NXT backstage after Halloween Havoc, with the source being a private account amplified by other outlets.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has enquired about this rumor with NXT sources, and has been met with ignorance to the possibility of an Oba Femi main roster call up. In asking sources ranging from production, talent and otherwise, we did not hear of Femi saying goodbyes following Halloween Havoc, with those we spoke to being of the belief Femi will remain in NXT for the time being.
Femi has been long considered a future WWE Champion, something which we previously reported when Femi captured the NXT North American Championship. Several sources in NXT we spoke to were of the belief that Femi was next in line for the NXT Championship after Trick Williams, but we were unable to confirm if that was in WWE’s immediate plans.
It is worth noting that when an NXT star says goodbye to the brand, it is very rarely kept secret, with videos being posted to social media of stars such as Bron Breakker being filmed following his final match on the brand.

Mania. Cuz if you do it sooner...then you gotta have someone who's gonna have to have a bigger match/moment than he and Trick. Right now...I don't see that.
Unless they sign another big time name on the men's side...OR...if they can creatively come up wit a feud for Trick where fans can get emotionally invested in...then I say wait. I'd rather them take their time wit it. Slow build it. I mean if they can do it wit BL and everyone else...then a Trick vs Oba can get the same treatment.
Continue planting seeds here & there. Remember the 1st one was planted when both men had their respective titles, and gave each other the stare down as they walk past each other. They got enough bodies to throw at them until they decide to pull the trigger for a full on feud.

I dont even care if Rhea is out til like the Rumble. We cannot go into Mania and it be Rhea / Liv for the WHC on a night 1. This story / feud is completing hurting the RAW women's division cause its dragging. Liv doesnt need to be the champion much longer. Its time for someone to take this belt from her. Preferably IYO and there has been some seeds planted for weeks that she'll have some kinda heat with Liv as they transition Liv / Raquel into the tag division. Rhea can come back and wash Liv and move onto a title program with whoever is the new champ.
We just cant keep stagnant with this particular feud as it holds up the rest of the division.

Iyo got her hands in the tag division right now. So there's no need to rush her back into the title picture right now. Plus the roster still need more women. So I'm good wit Liv and her reign. I don't wanna see her defending the title each week against a recycling women's Raw roster. Stick with the feud. Continue making that title mean something.
