The same could be said about your dislike of Future so ofcourse it looks like a "ahh he did the same" moment to you.

Yeah the Future/Metro double album was planned a year or 2 in advance. Majority of both those tapes had nothing to do with Drake either if you had listened to it. Lol I think you just missed where Drake and Future been throwing little light jabs at eachother since 2011/2012. You acted like he pulled a Kendrick and was going IN like he did on Like That.

Not Jermaine who loaded a whole diss record at Kenny then apologizing by crying on stage TWO days later....

Not the same in the slightest but hold the flag I guess but you know damn well it aint the same as putting out a straight up diss record then bending the knee before Kenny could breathe about it..

It's not the same but when you drop not 1 but 2 albums where the entire theme and marketing around the album is "fuck Drake" then you try to be cool again that does look funny in the light
 
I cant believe I actually downloaded that album/ mixtape whatever it was only for him to renege cause he miss his bromance with Aubrey. That Future / Metro gettin slam dunked into the recycle bin. None of that shit holds any weight. NOW niggas wanna be on their grown man lets all be friends and let bygones be bygones ass drug addict. Get that shit outta my sight!!! He can go back to being 2nd fiddle to Drake and rappin bout sharing stripper sweat and percs at their big age.

Like I said I get that but it's nothing close to Jermaine's first round tap out. Future and Metros tape was in motion for a few years and 90% of both tapes have nothing to do with Drake. But yes Future pulled his classic Drake slander for the roll out probably as soon as they got the Kenny verse back and seen what he was on.

It's actually worse when you put it that way. Cole backed out of a lyrical competition. Let's say he was too scared to lose a lyrical battle to Kendrick tho he just jumped on a track with one of battle rap's GOATs a cpl weeks ago... y'all can have that. Future had two years to plan out an albums series filled with subs against a dude he had underlying issues with that could've been hashed out during the time they were in the studio making an album together. You know damn well Future was not gonna go bar for bar with Drake... it was gonna be a whole bunch of dirty laundry airing and pillow talk. Light jabs is all he got until he gotta play dirty. Then instead of picking up the phone and directly apologizing to him, he retweets his producer who has nothing to do with their personal issues talkin bout "let's get back to the money". And if they've been going at it for years, what makes you think they're not gonna go at it again? Cole risked looking like a coward to save his friendships. Future put his friendship on the line to sell records then tried to dial it back. I see why Pac was barkin on niggas.

They will go at it again in the next few years. I'm trying to come up with 2 rappers who do the same love/hate relationship thing every other year but yeah their relationship is weird. Like I said I dont think the original 2 albums with Metro were going to have much of anythings to do with Drake but Kenny came in with that verse and Future went with it.

Drake should of showed up for the Tony Montana videoshoot that pissed Future off originally. Lol

It actually makes it worse if you're saying he spent over a decade throwing subs while still working and touring with him before dedicating 2 whole album rollout to dissing Aubrey and then trying to push a message to be cool again. Just shows the fakeness on another level. Put out a mixtape that wasn't received that well and now it's "let me call Drake again". Shit makes him look bad. Cole don't get a pass for his bullshit and Future shouldn't get a pass for being fraudulent as hell

Future don't get a pass for his bipolar shit with Drake for sure but Cole stunt was a way bigger L. I still can believe that shit.

Cole was bigger because people expect more from him as a rapper. Nobody actually expected any diss bars from Future. Nigga can barely rhyme in general. But this did expose the whole thing of Drake running to ATL when them niggas ran to him just as much and as quick for a hit
