Yea, BIG only having 2 albums plays a factor, but I don't penalize him for it like a lot of other people do.

To me Nas and Big are tied, but if I had to, I give the slight edge to Nas.

When it was war time, he was with the smoke and did what he had to do.

For whatever reason, BIG folded. [I/]You can't claim king and move like that.

Are you suggesting Biggie folded like a cheap suit and 2Pac is better?

My top 5 favourite rappers is slightly different than who I believe the top 5 greatest rappers are.

My top 5 favourite rappers are:
1) Pac
2) Nas
3) Jay
4) BIG
5) Ice Cube

I believe Nas is the greatest rapper of all time.
I never understood this logic when it comes to something that’s 100% subjective. If you rather listen to someone music over someone else that means they make better music to you therefore is better

It's like this; Drake has the most streams in the modern way of counting record sales, so objectively he is the GOAT. However, I don't listen to him at all. So he's not my personal top 5 because I don't listen to him, but I cannot deny his impact. Objectively Drake is top 5 but subjectively I don't listen to him at all.

I can separate my personal biases or belief. I've been a fan of Pac's since he dropped Strictly album but he died in '96. Nas is 50 and still rhyming at a high caliber. Body of work and longevity makes Nas the greatest rapper too me.

Quick question for all of y'all who say not even top 10. Were y'all even born or listening to Hip Hop when BIG was alive?

I moved to NYC right when No Way Out dropped and he was on the radio every other song. So I understand how he was considered the KONY.

This is where I be at….

My personal top 5-10 is off from my unbiased top 5-10….Wayne and Pac ain’t on none of my personal favorite lists but I’d be lying if I didn’t acknowledge their impact and catalog…even if I don’t listen to them.

My personal top 10 are artists I just really enjoy listening too and don’t find myself skipping a bunch of their stuff when it comes up randomly (in more recent times Nas’ Hitboy songs sometimes be getting tha skippity pap pap treatment lol) but for tha most part my top 10 is just niggaz I like listening to and even tho some I feel are or should be on Top lists but I don’t get mad when they’re not mentioned lol

I was a backpacker, producer, DJ, and MC at that time. My listening rotation was typically Black Moon, Smif n Wesson, Tha Alkaholiks, Souls of Mischief and the rest of Hiero, Eric B and Rakim, Redman, EPMD, Nas, O.C., Organized Konfusion... That kinda shit.
