If you know anything about mutants, their powers are limited. They're still only human with a little x factor. That's why there's different classes of mutants. The most powerful are called omega level.

Them cats you can say are comparable to what human torch is at his zenith....not no fucking pyro

But the Human torch's power is fire. Pyro controls fire.
 
Not only that... mutants aren't always at "omega" level all the time. Easily could of been an earlier version that hasn't unlocked it yet.

He controls fire but there's obviously a limit.
Torch too powerful for the bs that happened but I guess they needed even more comic relief

The Human Torch is a Human. Mutants are born with their power so it makes sense that a mutant would defeat a person who does not have powers naturally if you want to go that route. Also he was not super nova int his movie and it was for Chris Evans cameo and comedy. I think you took it too serious.

Pyro can control fire but not plasma IIRC. So if Torch got hot enough then Pyro couldn't do anything. Movie made him stupid
