I’m not the biggest fan of Kamala, but I think some of the talking points being made here about her are being done because it’s cool to be contrarian. Same thing was done with Obama.

If it was Joe or Kamala, I’ll take Kamala. If it’s Kamala or any of the other potentials being mentioned, I’ll still take Kamala because I think she still has the best chance to beat Trump given she’ll have the money and infrastructure in place to hit the ground running.

She’s not perfect, but she’s not the worst either. I see people calling her Copmala and what not, but do you really think she’s going to become president and start sending black folk to jail en masse? She’s a pandererer and she’ll bend to whatever keeps her in office. She might be the best shot at black people getting something for their vote out of all other candidates.

Kamala was the most unlikeable candidate when she ran.

She isn't even a likeable VP.

She's a handpicked Obama-Clinton drone because she has the transient international non-Black American law background just like Obama and they want to mold her.

She's the Bronny James of the Democratic Party. She was never a skilled politician and got promoted to the big leagues.
 
Maddow made a good point earlier. Trump chose his VP pick based on running against Biden. He didn’t think he needed to expand his reach with someone more moderate so he chose Trump 2.0. This will come back to bite him in the end.

Different time. She ran right after the George Floyd protests and she was a prosecutor so she could only rely on her experience so much.

Now the temperature is lower (for better or worse) and she’s running against a convicted felon. She’ll be able to rely on all of that experience and attack Trump relentlessly. She’ll be able to be herself fully.

Plus she’s known for giving people hell in the Senate and she’ll bring that tenacity to the campaign and to Trump. Trump will not debate Kamala for that reason alone.

Im not even saying this as an anti-voter. I actually left all that revolutionary politics alone. (I live a much simpler , quieter life now) I have no dog in this fight. I dont care whether people vote or not but I will always care about the truth

So what is truth?

Copmala has been virtually invisible Bidens entire election cycle. Thats a fact. Copmala has been disliked far before she became vice president, even amongst white house staffers. Another fact. Many Black women, do not identify or see themselves in copmala. (Why do you think the calls were for Michelle to run when copmala was standing right there 🧍🏾‍♀️) so the Black girl magic fanfare will be minimal another fact and in 4 months the DNC thinks everyone is going to just hop up and run to the polls and vote for her?

I dont think Kamala will drive people into the arms of trump but I honestly predict low voter turnout

This whole debacle is laughable but like i've been saying for the past … idk … 6 years on this platform, dems are PROFESSIONAL losers and EVERYONE fails when backing a party that gets paid to be terrible at their jobs.
