He just dropped a title. It won't be til Mania they will find him in side missions til then. Might even win the Rumble. No need to rush him into another title so soon.

Priest still being the champion past Summerslam ain’t gonna happen. There’s no investment in Gunther chasing the title he’s not a face. Dude is gonna win the title and have a long run. Might even be past Wrestlemania.

Nah. They not gone have him win KOTR get awarded a World Title match and lose it at a Top 5 PPV. Gunther will have opponents lined up once he wins the WHC.

Rollins, Jey Uso, Punk, Illa, Priest (when he turns face), Sami, etc.,
 
All I know is they way they building Gunther up the time is now to for him to be the champion. Preist about to be in a judgement day civil war, Rollins ain’t winning the belt, Punk & Drew gonna be destroying each other the next few months… it’s Gunther’s time.
