OUT NOW Drake - For All The Dogs 🐕

that album was just okay. It definitely had a few fire tracks though.

It wasn’t childish at all though.

The album with 21 was fire so I don’t know what folks want from him.

I'm not sure what your definition of not childish was not FATD was more of the same.

Her Loss as a body of work was just better but I think more people want his "timestamp in a city" kinda raps or a song like "middle of the ocean" from HL is a good example. Give more raps like that

Deep pockets
Not you too

Etc..

Yea. His time stamp raps be fire.

And if folks actually check for his verses you would see he does that more than enough especially on features.

His verse on Churchill Downs was fire but nobody talked about it.

But when he drop rich baby daddy and get “rap culture” playing it’s a problem.

He’s giving folks what they want in a way.

KDot talking about we like melody, Drake and not tough drake (he does not play tough) folks calling that music childish and simp shit.

All these dudes are just rappers. None of them are difference makers with
Tangible actions. Including our favorites from Jay, Nas and Kendrick. They just make music for a certain demographic. It’s just music. Nothing more nothing less.

It’s music for different people. and yes we have the right to call what we don’t like trash but reality it’s just not for our ears.

Until very recently I thought 21 was the worse dude out

Nip is ranked in my top 10

Uzi Very is a weirdo

Jack Harlow can actually rap

Juvenile has a top notch discography

Lil Wayne the GOAT

And most of y’all would look at me weird and tell me to grow up or some other shit.

But the rap like a adult take is weird to me

I kinda get your point but I think with Drake, you can't have several albums with 15+ songs and like only a 3rd if that checks the boxes we are talking about

Put it like this, he has more songs like Rich baby Daddy gang than 4pm in Calabasas

As much as I’m fucking with K Dot I still thought this album was about a 7 and 8 with the bonus version but there are a lot of songs I can do w/out along with ones I like a lot

It might lose a point for the leaks though

A lot of filler

Which speaks to the point about streaming driving how artists make projects now

Drake hasn't made a single album since music went practically exclusively to streaming. He's been making songs that chart which may not translate to a complete body of work in the way we grew up consuming music

How many threads on this very site have numerous posts like "kept about 3 or 4 songs".
