Truth is, it's not that it's not working, it's that WWE is flaming hot.
Business has to dip for WWE for it to pick up for AEW. That's just the nature of major promotions worldwide. When CMLL was down, AAA was up. When NJPW was down, NOAH was up.
That's not to say that business is bad for AEW though because 250 mill revenue last year is no small feat.

That's the thing though, they have Okada, Ospreay, Sasha who are all their big signings but none of them are in any top programs. They're just there.

"Just there" is false. Okada had a belt put on him within 2 weeks, Will and Mercedes are also challenging for titles already. You can say they're not in world title programs or whatever but there's no need to be dishonest lol.
