lol. Jay was crying about niggas giving donations on that shit. That nigga was tight. He’s doesn’t get called out enough for that shit.
Crying? Talking about the hypocrisy of people talking out their neck about what he doesn't do when 1. He gave a quick reminder what he done within that year and 2. Other niggas wasn't really on the same tip.

Bruh you've had pop stars legit try to fuck up each other's tours doing shit like stealing dancers and band members. Rock groups openly beefing and writing songs about each other in the same damn group. Artists from different groups and bands openly saying that they think a peer of theirs is trash and ruining the music. It's not just a rap thing.
And at a pop level, Taylor disses niggas all the time. Her and Katy was going back and forth.

Give It To Me is a 3 person diss track.

Ariana disses Jhene on Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored.

One of Mike's biggest songs is a diss track about Diana Ross...

There's so many examples but it's not the same as disses in rap

I never thought when Dot jumped out there on Like That that a few weeks later I’d be hearing about Drake’s nose,/BBL, Cole apologizing, niggaz clownin’ MANSIONS, intergalactic ninja stars and ending wit’ me googlin’ “Did MJ write Dirty Diana about Diana Ross”…

:dfbruh:
This is fuckin’ absurd lol

I agree, it's not even close to the same as disses in rap. Like Swift makes lyrics saying someone is mean and makes her sad, so they're a bully and people call it a diss, haha. Really what are the diss bars in Bad Blood?

Rap beefs try to destroy, embarrass, and end the career of the other person a lot of the time. These other people write songs implying they may not get along with someone, or talkin a tiny bit slick and people call it a diss.

Maybe even before. There's a way more disrespectful version that was going to be released but Quincy told Mike that was too much. He didn't want him to drop DD at all.

She was grooming Mike since he was a teen. Told them they'll end up together but she was messing around with "the boys in the band" but tried to cock block him whenever he started to see someone.

Dirty diana was his response to her song “Dirty Looks.” She was trying to seduce him after she got married, but he was tired of her games. In her song, she says “every move you make, boy, I’ll be watching you…” In his song, he says “I know your every move, so won’t you just let me be…” Communicating with each other through song.
