Rodrigues adds some great humor. Don't know how long he has in the show but it's been funny
 
I love this. Small nitpicks like for instance Blackthorne didn't become Hatamoto till like halfway through the book but I digress. Considering the first book is over 1000 pages I'm sure they have to condense it. Otherwise this has been great.

It's a 1000+ page book. It's wild they're gonna do that whole story in one season but they're pulling it off so far. Also ancestors of Blackthorne and especially Toronaga are in Tai-Pan and Gai-Jin are in those stories. I'd love to get those stories too.

Yes. She was fucking with Blackthorne with the talk about a courtesan. She's also playing the long game as explained when she mentioned her name was popular in Japan. She's looking for revenge
