FEATURED "Vitamins & Juicing Is Pointless"

test
This aint new. Ive said this on this forum in different threads for years now.

The little vitamin capsule you take does in fact have a 1000mgs of vitamin c. No lie there.

The issue is that our bodies dont know how to digest the synthethic factory made vitamin C in that capsule. You take it, your body shits or pisses it out without extracting any of that vitamin c.

Thats why the last few years vitamins been coming out talking about "made from real veggies". Cause our bodies can digest and extract nutrients from real veggies.

That said, does grounding down real veggies and making them pills still allow our bodies to digest them properly? Probably not. My research doesnt go that far cause I been said fuck supplements years ago so I havent looked into the new ones.

The market is oversaturated wit that shyt. So I don't take anything. I dunno which ones are actually good for you, and which ones are just pure crap.

Yep

Did a deep dive last year into supps and 90% are bs.

They dont actually have clinical doses and are synthetic and cant be processed by your body.

Propietery protein blends
Pre Workout
Fat burners
most vitamins
Testosterone boosters

All bs

All I take is pure protein isolate to supplement my protein from food ( the brand I use legit only has like 3 ingredients) and I cycle pure creatine monohydrate

Get all my other nutrients from food as well.

Best I have ever felt and im a stones throw away from 40

I’ve never heard that vitamins were created with the fast food industry. I thought they were micronutrients just as natural as minerals that are just as important as macronutrients.

Vitamin supplements are much different than vitamins that come from food tho. For example, a vitamin c pill won’t be anywhere as effective as eating an orange. The body receives an orange and uses all the nutrients inside of it to take what it needs, as it needs it. A lot of the other nutrient content in an orange allows the body to receive the vitamin c. W a synthetic vitamin pill, it’s hard to tell what the body does w it, if anything bc it’s not an isolated machine that can be hacked with reductionist theories.

As for juicing, it’s worked hella well for me. I’ve gone on 48 hour all fruit or all juice fasts and it’s contributed a lot to my increased health over the last few years. I plan on doing an 30 day all fruit/fruit juice fast this year at some point as I’ve heard a lot of great things from ppl who have before.

Additionally, vitamins and minerals from natural sources like dried and wet herbs, I believe, are superior to any supplement or synthetic vitamin. Naturally occurring > synthetically manufactured

The whole shyt is business. That's why you see so many of these fitness folks pushing a lot of these products. Most of them probably don't even take the shyt they pushin. But b/c that check cleared, well then now they gotta advertise it on their social media platforms.

A good book I read on this is called “Whole” by T Colin Campbell. This makes me want to revisit it now.

Yep. Juicing removes the benefits that come with mastication and vitamins are easily provided if you eat balanced meals.

That bullshit only helps super athletes.

Kinda like those Power Gel packets, they don’t do shit for the average person but take one on mile 12 of a 15 miler…

I’m taking

Day

Naturelo (multi vitamin)
Folic Acid - 809mcg (take 1)
Arginine + Citrulline - 1650mg (take 3)

Night

Omega 3 -3600 MG (take 3)
D3 - 25 mcg (take 1) **go to 50mcg**
magnesium - 120mg take 1- 4

Every other day
Zinc -50mg (1 every other day)
Iron - 28mg (1 every other day)
Maca root (every other day)

1. I needed vitamins when I got Covid during 2022 and that’s when I started to take them again. I have not had vitamins since I was 9 - 11 years old. I have bought some vitamins in Nov and February, shits are expensive. I just want to finish up all I have and see how I feel.

2. Juicing in definitely doing this spring and summer. If I can replace a meal with juicing or just to have one on the go, I’m all for it. I saved videos and ingredients, I’m doing it this year

This would pop up all the time last year

I wouldn't go so far as to say taking vitamins or juicing is pointless, but I don't think that taking a bunch of pills should replace eating well. Like I take iron because I'm anemic. I eat iron rich foods, but it's not enough so I the supplement.

Yes.

Everything you need is in food. Real food. Gmo grocery food. Organic grocery food. Home grown food.

If you're not eating well, then yeah supplements may be beneficial, but the only mineral that isn't abundant in food is magnesium, but its still found in leafy greens and red meat in decent quantities and can be reached.

With supplements your body will take what it needs then get rid of the rest. Can't be taking 300% of your daily vitamin c a day and expect to never get sick. You'll just piss or sweat out 200% of it. Prolonged use could actually damage your organs in the long term.

Just eat real food. Of your food comes out of a box you're a fucking loser.

Vitamins and juicing does change your life, but it takes months. If you are changing your diet and really grinding to live a healthier lifestyle, you probably won’t see great change until 2 months in. It’s like that first month or two you have to get rid of all the garbage physical and mental. Patients is key (and I’m losing it), but it’s important.
