I thought about this same thing but had to think. People grow and change. Are they not allowed to explore a new interested that is different from what they originally did? Lil jon and waka flocka start doing edm. Lil wayned did rock. People grow. Sometimes it works and sometimes it dont. I will say there is a thin line between someone being interested compared to someone doing something different just for the money or look.

Also, beyonce might have always liked country music. She is from texas.

It’s all good but kinda corny. That’s my take.

Also, it’s a big difference from country folks and just southern folks.
 
More artists should try different type of sounds.

This year my stance completely changed on that all around
