My corners started receding when i was 24 (im 40 now). My sides started thinning a couple years ago and my very top started thinning about a year ago. Im a mess. My hair genes are shit overall, i accepted it years ago. And get a 100% bald cut once a week. Life comes at you fast.
But in the 90s, (95 to be exact, my bone thugs/snoop dogg phase) i had a FULL afro and was able to have broads cornroll my shit. Those were the days :(

Man been bald since 25-26. I had to accept that shit and it was hard. That first cut was a beast. I was scared, anxious, depressed, and most of all insecure. A brotha stayed wearing a hat.
But now I got a whole head of hair with like 3 styles going. On one side locs. On the other side a fro. And up to a bald spot on the top of my head with thinly spaced hairs growing and I walk around confident af with nfg

I use Andis T-Liners to cut it low then use a single blade safety razor to clean it up.
Scared to graduate to the straight razor.
I don’t wanna go straight razor yet either. My barber tells me I still have most of my hair and I don’t need to come home yet. Just need to get a cut once a week for the most part
