Pretty much saying Ariel was white, so she should've stayed white. But when I brought up how no one bat an eye about Elizabeth Taylor playing Cleopatra...who's black...her rebuttal...
"Naw you can't do that. You can't go that far back. It was a different time. They didn't have as many actresses like Egyptian...African to play those roles."
Me:
Completely ignored me mentioning all the black actors and actresses this country had. Also the racism that prevented a lot of them from gettin those roles. I even mentioned a somewhat recent film like "Gods of Eygpt", and how that was pretty much an all white cast.
Her excuse again was they couldn't find actual Egyptians to play Egyptian gods, and not black actors & actresses.
