Songs That Should Never Be Re-Made

Beyonce's before I let go rendition is a great song

pays homage to the original

adds a bit of new school flavor

and introduces it to a newer audience

Checks the 3 biggest boxes for a proper remake

I'm not the biggest Beyonce fan..as a matter of fact, I'm not a fan of hers at all, but i would be lying if i said the song wasnt a good remake

I'll add the "nola bounce" beat does give it some extra likability with me, but while there are many terrible remakes or renditions of songs, this isnt one of em. But ya'll keep dancing with a pack of niggas reciting "where my dogs at" while im getting my dick grinded on by all the females who gonna run to the dancefloor at kickbacks and clubs this summer

deuces

why dont you personally like the song

I got a little time this morning

I swear i'm the only objective nigga on here lol Defending and Shitting on Beyonce at the same damn time.

i gave you 3 reasons why the song is a proper rendition of an original song

you gave me....well...nothing but some silly comparison to off brand cereal and the cereal it's trying to emulate

if you feel her actual singing voice takes away from the song, then, while I disagree and think its not THAT bad, that would've been a better rebuttal than the one you used.

so let me try this another way

you give me at least 3 boxes a song must check for you to feel like its a proper rendition.

Bruh i don't care about no damn boxes lol it's just wack af in comparison to the original version. Nothing more nothing less.

let me answer the question

I recently learned Love TKO by Teddy P is actually a remake, but i wouldnt want anyone to remake his rendition of it.

and damn near any Isley Brother song

Man I don't know who sings the song, but the dude incorporated Michael Jackson's " Brrrrrdat, dat, dat,.dat, brrrrrdat, dapadat!" into the hook and quite frankly I did not like it. Leave Mike's songs alone

Fuckin a boogie with hoodie is his name. Song give me headaches

Here's Respect by Otis Redding

Aretha's version is waaaaaaay better. That's a song that shouldn't be remade, even though it's a remake.

That could be an interesting thread, remakes that shouldn't be remade.
