If there had been more foreshadowing about dany being the mad queen that would have been cliche to me...we've seen it a bunch of times before where the good guy slowly gets darker as time goes on
If this was GRRM vision I think he wanted it to be where the audience was cheering for the villain unknowingly for the whole series which is a bigger twist and hasnt really been done as far as I know

it had its moments for sure, but i would be lying if i said the hound/mountain fight was anything other than anticlimatic
Cersei and Jamie being buried alive....anticlimatic
Arya becoming a dust bunny...anticlimatic...real spill...for like 2 min, i thought that mother she met was ol girl from the many faced god squad...but nope...just "red keep tennant no. 20" in the credits
The best part to me was watching Tyrian and John watch Danny turn full heel
in other words...they couldnt figure out a "proper" way to kill certain characters off in combat, so they gave them those easy outs\
the only saving grace will be Arya killing Danny, but even that, by the time they do it, it will be anticlimatic

They fought and died together
I think the point was how unimportant their fight was in the middle of a dragon burning the city down.The climax was the Hound jumping into fire with him.
What was Arya supposed to do?Why did you think she mattered?I figured she wouldn't kill Cersei and would be caught in the battle somehow.I didn't expect some dramatic arc for her.
Cersei and Jaimie aren't dead until I see them dead,but ppl act like they needed to see cersei crucified with knives stuck in her eyes and mouth and have stark carved across her face and a broomstick up her ass
