But it takes two to make a baby. The fathers rights during pregnacy.

got this from another thread

That's because those guys didn't want to have the child in the first place. It's ultimately the woman decision to make that man a father or not once she's pregnant

so my question is......a woman can make decisions on the childs she is carrying up until like 5 months i think.

when does the fathers rights to an unborn child begin or stop?

sometimes things happen and unwanted pregnancy is a thing for a reason.

do you think it should be a law that the mother has to get the father permission to have an abortion? or does the mother retain full rights during gestation? if it takes two to make a child, why does all the decisions fall on or default to the mother?

and lets say the mother gets an abortion without the fathers permission....should she face some sort of penalty? jail time? because if a dude does make the right decisions as a father....its usually jail time.

lets talk about it

The nigga you quoted is a clown with weak sperm and weak baby making abilities.

Father had rights. The laws just don't work in their favor. So it makes it easier to disregard them. Which is really fucked up.

There is a growing number of people who want to see legal changes for the opposite: when a man isn't ready for fatherhood and the woman wants to keep it they think he should be able to forfeit his paternity which would free him from any legal obligations to her and the child.

You can't really make women get abortions. It's super unconstitutional

Serious answer though: I feel the man should have say so in the situation but he has to take into account the effects carrying a baby has on a woman. It’s more than “it’s both our baby”. A lot of the responsibilities fall on her and not the father. She has to make sure to make healthy choices. She has to go through the sickness. She has to go through the tests and other stuff. So a lot has to be taken into account when deciding to keep a baby. The hard work starts for the dad when the baby is born. The hard work for the mom starts at conception.

On the other side, if mom is ready and dad isn’t, that's tough. It can cause a world of problems for the man which isn’t fair if the mom continues with the pregnancy. He could always sign his rights over if he completely don’t want shit to do with the baby.

does it count if the father is present and supportive during all this?

It’s moral support but he’s not getting the shots. He’s not getting his blood sugar tested. He’s not getting a finger stuck up his vagina to see if he’s dilating. He’s not getting a stick shoved up him for an ultrasound. He’s not getting an epidural or being cut open and having to heal after a c section. He’s not ripping his vagina while tryna push a baby out. He is not risking DEATH by delivering a baby.

When you right there with them the whole time it feels like y'all both going through it...

But I understand what you saying

This a slippery slope. For one, I hate the fact that people fuck without protection and then say they aren't ready for a child.

Back on topic, I don't think a woman should be able to just abort a child without the fathers permission, barring medical emergencies.

On the contrary, if the woman gets pregnant, all that I wasn't ready shit it out the door. Use a condom. That goes for both parties.

crazy cuz i know a few chicks who was ok with abortions and always had raw seks.

one chick had like 5 and was upset she was having problems having kids. and those 5 came when she was damn near touching 20

I think the opposite is more disconcerting. When the father wants the baby and the mother doesn't, he's got no say. She can kill the kid, and there's nothing he can do about it. She doesn't even have to do him the courtesy of telling him that she was pregnant.
