aside from that bs, i dont think its just wrong

i dont know what type of relationship they had or what they had agreed upon

but if it takes you 45 mins to dress me in the morning and I hardly know who you are, this has transitioned from an intimate relationship to more like a nurse and patient relationship.....the love and care is still there, obviously, with her not being in a home somewhere

I would never expect my better half to spend their last healthy years solely wiping my slobber and reading novels

and I just dont think this would be going on if they didnt already have this sort of agreement or understanding

they been together 0ver 20 years and for them to be able to work that out is beautiful to me
 
we need to have this disease in its own thread.

i deal with a loved one with this disease whenever im in charlotte.

it may sound crazy....but i could not cheat on my wife if she had this disease.
i would stay by her side and take care of her.

people dont understand thru thick and thin..... they only see....well i didnt know it would come to this.

just read the whole story......

the fact that she doesnt really understand makes it different to me, only in the sense of the woman being around her...thats kinda weird

but it also shows just how far gone she is...this man is 64 years old and this woman is well taken care of......his life shouldnt end here by default

no way either of them knew she was going to become ill at this time in life

back to the race thing....there's people really saying "oh this white woman is having her lifestyle funded by the work of a black woman" yadda yadda and that shit couldnt be more ignorant and presumptuous

they act like this is some broke ass 25 yr old he found online and bought her a benz

this woman is middle aged, aint even from here, and has a past and a family as well......they met in a damn bar talking about old people shit

shits just about an old man that basically lost his wife, and has been able to find happiness...which in turn has made him a better care giver for this woman

HOW or WHY would anyone want to block that or have something to say about it?

from what I read, all the real friends and family that know them and are around are all good with it

let say she's in an accident........next year......paraplegic

you saying you're done? you're just a WebMD nurse now?

do you feel different once that person passes on?

what if he was to stay alone and take care of this woman for the next 10 years and then become sick himself? should he go straight to a home, or have somebody that really loves and cares for him taking this on in the comfort of his home, just as his wife was fortunate enough to have?

i dont disagree with you much.....
but i cant agree.
now if i was the one with the disease (God Forbid) i would want my wife to go find happiness and check on me from time to time....but for me watch her go thru something like that. i could not imagine another person even touching me.
should i stop living? thats not what i am saying. but if my mate is at her lowest, i need to be at my highest to balance us out.

we as people tend to not think about the what ifs. always thinking the sun will rise tomorrow and shine on us.

life aint like that,

i once made a thread about this,......i staying by her side.
thats just how im built.
im not saying the next person is wrong for how they do them.....but bringing another person in the house is wrong.

see....and this is where preparing for the what ifs comes in. my wife and i had these talks early in our relationship. one of the few times i forced her to talk abot it.
she now understands but didnt at the time.
but if anything happens to either of us we are good with care,. and all that. the only thing the other person has to do is very minimal.

but i just cant think i need to buss a nut while my wife sitting there drooling on herself.

but thats just me.
 
God rest his soul if my dad did something like this to my mom I'd kill him a second time.

Outside of that. Shit is a difficult situation to judge that man on. Yes that is his wife but at the same time that ain't his "wife".
