The main push from social media for this started with younger folks who simply don't have the connection to R. Kelly that older folks who grew up on his music do....that and folks get older and with hindsight realize some wild shit was going on and now want to correct it..and what exactly is wrong with someone who legit deserves it being got?

its alot wrong with it......because it should have been done off of what was known and not because of this doc.

how many times does a person have to kill someone before people want justice?
this silence is why our communities are like they are. this is why fuck shit is rampant in our hoods......the silence that we allow.
 
crazy but...i went back thru this thread......and everyone is right tho.

there are girls who know better and girls who got caught up in the spotlight of the person.

First, Kelly is wrong and even if it's true that the media is highlightin' his crap over others, we shouldnt be defendin' rapists. All this 'but that white guy did it too' talk is kinda weak imo

Second, seems like a lotta niggas take this MeToo ting very personally.

its about the different standard.

and the metoo thing is serious......on an accusation you can be fired.
metoo started by a black woman but doesnt protect black women at the same rate as they protect white women.
