what does a credit score really say about a person?

does it really say how responsible a person is?

does it really say something about your earning potential?

does it mean a person is better than a person with a bad credit score?

if a person has bad credit, is that an automatic red flag?
does it matter how the person got to have bad credit?

lets talk about it.

That they understand the usage of credit and know what standard you may hold; but that’s a mere statistic and credit it a judgement against you! If you live life in the realm of credit, make sure you maintain it bc once you dip under a certain # the hardest it is to make certain moves.

It shows a certain responsibility

Person to person , no that don’t matter.

Bad credit raises flags. It makes it harder to get what you need if you need credit to support your investements.

I’m the realm of credit , it matters. Charge offs , delinquencies , and late payments play a huge portion of credit neglect

I was going to make a thread in how to affectively repair your credit on your own. It only cost you about $45 for the kit and additional money for the postage and envelopes.

You can fix your credit with actual ease to be honest.

yep......

Not much. There's plenty of ways someone score can be fucked for reasons out of their control.

2 of the biggest ones in our country are shitty parents using a childs name for Bill's, and the ridiculous medical debt one can get in this country if they have a chronic illness

A good credit score means you understand being in debt to someone else

I was listening to a old guy talk about how, he never had credit. He always lived below his means and invested his money wisely. He never bought anything if he couldnt afford to outright own it. So one day his daughter asks him to help get her an apartment. He goes there and tries to put it in his name.

Chick in the office says she can't rent him an apartment because he has no credit history. Dude shows the woman his bank account. He's a millionaire, says I could buy this complex and fire you and you are telling me I am not responsible enough to pay you 1000 dollars a month?

He goes on to say, what kinda of country do we live in that owing someone money is more important than having money.

the type of country where you can enjoy now and worry about paying later.

everyone wants things now.
why wait when i can just pay you later with a few more dollar interest for your trouble.

Based on that..does that say someone is responsible, better than someone else, or has consistent earning power?

Nah, just says you have an understanding of how fucked up America is..so I guess it just means u have common sense

yep....thats why i always say...pay off shit as fast as you can. dont let shit linger just because you want to enjoy your money.

its niggas out here living on leverage like crazy...all it takes is for our country to go to shit and watch how many niggas get foreclosed on...again.

leverage has always been a gamble that i never trusted,

I was thinking about how ill is that when the financial system is in crisis, conservatives in media push investing in "precious" metals. Often times alot as of late, the conservative bullseye has been on the Muslim community. The community/nationality, that precious medals mean the most too.

America and other countries covet gold based on the rich that covet gold. The rich that covet gold is almost entirely middle eastern. The asians don't covet medals, they covet finance, America doesn't covet medals, they covet power, europeans don't covet medals, they covet diplomacy.

So the same thing they tell their audience to rush to and invest in. Is the same shit coveted the most by the people they deem are their enemy. So in essence, you make them more powerful, which then makes America have to be propped up to be more powerful to combat that power..

This world is a fucking mind fuck b

it says nothing about them. Shit happens in your life that you really can't control. I had a mid-600 score before moving out to Vegas. Once we got out here I was unemployed for 14 months. Needless to say that score tanked and I haven't been able to recover from it.

Credit doesn't mean owing money is more important than having money. Credit is based on your ability to pay back, on time, what you borrowed or to pay simple things like bills on time. The better you are the more trusting they are.

Credit is a tool. Use it to your advantage.

But being disciplined and make enough to buy without borrowing, which i understand is rare, i think is worth striving for.

All it does is show how good u are at managing debt. And if ur really good at it, banks will give u opportunities to manage higher limits of debt over time.

U just better have the salary/capital to back it up.

It's nothing to "strive" for, simply live within your means and you'll eliminate 99% of your debt. Shit, depending on where you live and how much you make you could even eliminate that last 1% by saving up for a house and buying it outright instead of getting a morgage.

I use the word strive bc we are conditioned to want to live large or have the best of the best or to buy before having the money.

Sometimes ppl go into debt and it had nothing to do with poor financial decisions. And i believe society in general isnt taught enough about financial literacy and the pitfalls of lack thereof.

Otherwise i agree with your post.

@DOS_patos may need to chime in here, but if I'm not mistaken using credit in place of cash all the time is really an American thing; you don't see it like that in European, SE Asian, or Central/South American spots. I mean, sure you can get credit, but from what I remember reading, most people across the world simply don't use credit that much. That may have changed or may be changing, but that's something that always stuck with me.

i wouldnt say its an america thing...more like a western world thing.

shit is just as crazy in the UK with them high ass APRs. shit be like 39%.
and they got them payday loan like places...saw a commercial for it...rates was high as fuck too.

but here in swiss....they dont play that shit.....no job....no credit.
and if you dont pay......they give you three months to make arrangements or you go to jail.
but depending on how much you make....it reflects your credit limit.

You're goddamn right. The UK likes to follow what the US does in many areas and the prevalrnce of credit might be the worst of em. Like America the UK did not learn from the recession and once Brexit hits in March i expect another recession will not be far away and many will default on their mortgages
