Disney is enlisting Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as the company prepares to launch its upcoming streaming service. The entertainment giant is in early development on an ambitious plan for a number of limited series centered on popular characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. These series will likely include shows centered on Loki and the Scarlet Witch, along with other beloved superheroes who have yet to appear in their own standalone movies.

Marvel and Disney had no comment.

There’s an important distinction from other Marvel small screen efforts, however. The actors who portrayed these heroes and villains in the Avengers films and their spin-offs, such as Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen, are expected to play them in the streaming shows. Moreover, though sources close to the production are staying mum on the cost of the programming, the budgets are expected to be hefty rivaling those of a major studio productions. Each series is expected to include six to eight episodes. Marvel Studios will produce the shows and Kevin Feige, the guru of all things MCU, is expected to take a hands-on role in their development.

Lmao. DC is fucked. Ball game.

i'm not back tracking, i know what i said, yall just refuse to acknowledge fact out of spite...

where do u go from there??

yall done gave the marvel movies more powers than the superheroes....

yall saying confirmed stars were essentially nobodies before they got in the marvel movies..

yall flat out denying that marvel used their name notoriety and start power to help bring lesser known characters to the big screen...

there's literally nothing else to discuss...

yall have taken reasonability completely out of the discussion.....

i'm just here for the shits at this point

:js4:.....were're excited. Otherwise we'd be typing this every month...

:hahaha:
i'll just watch my collection of DC's proven track record that goes back much further than the 1 year old MCU

Lmao. DC is fucked. Ball game.

Disney trying to kill the game. Netflix is gon feel this.

I thought it would start asap but Netflix has Black Panther on there.

And they still have a couple of other MCU films as well.

If they are smart, they'd continue their relationship w/ Netflix til they can get their numbers up and not just yank all their stuff from Netflix.

Very true.

That's not the debate, Du said he was a nobody before Ironman and that's not true at all is what I'm saying. Ironman was his big return but that role doesn't define him

Doesn't define him? At this point, that CAC is Tony Stark. He ain't even bothering to do anything else anymore. lol

And Du's list would hold more weight if it didn't have Batman Forever and Batman and Robin on it. Those movies were shitty. And that Batman Ninja movie is also hot garbage. DC still got the animated game locked down though.

marvel's hot right now..

which explain all the trendy bandwagon fans....

yall will lose interest when the next phase comes out...

i already see the decline in interest...

yall pretend to be excited..... niggaz don't realy care no more....

but i'll let yall cook

did you feel this way when the properties that Marvel owned were being churned out into shit movies by other studios and DC was popping with their films in the theaters?

Iono fam.. especially with Marvel acquiring the Fox.... Fantastic Four and the Xmen and all the stories that come with that? Done properly? Shiiiiiiiiet.

Iono where this "decline" you speak of is coming from. Cats was saying back in Phase 2 about comic book movie fatigue in general but yet these Marvel movies continue to keep breaking records.

*Shrugs* I just want quality shit from both sides. I don't see why yall see the need to compare the two

@King Du , you cool and all, but you not going to minimize Marvel's impact. DC might have had a few standalone movie moments and firsts, but nothing on the scale of what Marvel has done with the MCU.

10 years of interconnecting movies and characters, along with connected network TV and Netflix shows? Not to mention many of the movies and shows were damn good?

They've put together something that might not ever be done again. Yeah DC might have been the first at a few things, and better at things such as animation, but those things are more easily duplicated. I can't see any other connected movie universe being created on the scale of what the MCU has done. DC is the only property with the volume of content to pull it off and they've proven they can't do it.

feel what way, i always gave props to what i liked, and spoke freely about what i didn't...

i've maintained that i think christan bale was a wack batman....one of the wackest.. he was a wack bruce wayne and a wack batman.....he just had a good script, great direction, and an excellent supporting cast......

i thought his batman voice was laughable....

i think marvel killed it with blade 1 & 2, xmen, spiderman 1 & 2

i thought the wolverine stand alones were crap outside of logan, the new xmen were crap, daredevil and elektra were crap...

green lantern was of course hot crap...

everybody has wins and losses, ..i feel ive been fair and consistent in all of them
