NBA Offseason Thread

I don't understand how any free agent could sign with the Celtics they're willing to trade Kyrie after one season, on top of that what they did to Isaiah Thomas was also fucked up.

They don't though. Besides Hayward I cant think of a difference maker that signed with them

That Kyrie shit is probably not true but if it is, its fucking hilarious. Felt a certain way after the Cavs discussed trading him for PG, forced a trade and now he in discussions in a trade for Kawhi.

This would make Kyrie to the Knicks in 2019 more likely. Long as Kyrie and KP take turns being out with injury, the Knicks will have 1 star on the court every game.

They went to the playoffs without him

Kinda gives them more leverage
And they made him come back early and cause more damage to his hip or are you talking about when his sister passed and he willingly came back to play, and still that offseason they traded him like he wasn't shit now a year later Isaiah Thomas probably lost 100 million dollars in money.

man you just talkin, the kings have a sg already in bogdonavic he was good for them shoots 39% from 3's averaged 12/3/3 as a rookie won rising stars mvp & hield at sg they need a wing more than anything

As long as lavine don't get a max offer(or in the ballpark) he'll be back on the bulls. Stick to your preposterous trade ideas headlined by terry rozier and stay out bulls basketball business

Lol at “he averaged 12/3/3 as a rookie!” Yea my bad they’re destined for greatness with him and Hield who started a whopping 12 games for them last year, they’re going big places what was I thinking...

Foh they can play Lavine and Bogdanovich with Hield off the bench, they should go after him that would be a great move

You’re the epitome of an idiot, first off unless you can show me facts that show the Celtics arevwilling to trade Kyrie after one season then it’s all speculation, and what are the Celtics supposed to do not try to improve the franchise? Should we have paid IT more than he was ever worth because we were the only team in the league willing to give him that starting opportunity and gave him a chance to show out like he did? Foh

Lolol you’re so stupid man enough with the lies, the Celtics said he can take as much time as he wanted if anything he was selfish for playing and not taking a game off AT LEAST, no one forced him to do anything, if he wasn’t talking all that back the brinks truck up and “I’m a max guy” bullshit and got his hip right...well he probably still would be in the position he’s in now no one wants to max out a 5’9 guard but he probably wasn’t going to get that anyway even if he never got hurt

those are good #'s for a rookie who didn't play 30 mins a game

the point was they can get equal value playing bogdonavic and hield at the 2 than signing lavine to 18-20+ mil and having a log jam and no wings.Kings dumb af so I wouldn't be surprised if they thought this is a good idea like you do

lol @ bogdonivic guarding 3's in the west. Clown

"San Antonio has informed teams its preferred target in any Leonard trade is the Celtics' Jayson Tatum, sources say. Teams have noted this is likely a negotiating tactic, and it's widely believed in league circles Boston is more likely to propose a deal centered around Kyrie Irving and future picks. But based on previous behavior, the Celtics are unlikely to overpay for Leonard."

I ask for facts he’s posting “likely beliefs”

Foh thread only got worse

There is a fine line between loyalty and what's best for your business. trading somebody after you know they had an injury and personal problems knowing they had a new contract coming up is fucked up but they improved their team with Kyrie. now they want to trade Kyrie for Kawhi Leonard one year later that's just even more fucked up. You're showing to all the players in the league that your front office has no loyalty and will do what they can to get rid of you if they think they can acquire someone better than you. how can you ever acquire free agents with that business practice?

We talking about trades and free agency nothing is fact right now. If anyone of importance go on record with sources I will believe that over a nobody on social media saying otherwise, but Common Sense will tell you if they are looking to trade a star they want a star and/or future assets in return. Take your cape off homer, any front office would do that for a top 5 talent, but for the Celtics to do it two years in a row that's bad karma.

You didn’t post facts so you don’t know what we’re willing to do, the same Kyrie that forced his way out of Cleveland and the same Kawhi who forced his way out of SA is who you are talking about man shut the fuck up about loyalty

Lakers might be trying to take back salary from the Nuggets(Faried, Chandler, or Arthur) and in order to get a draft pick for doing so

Just babblin shit at this point yea we’re the evil empire over here yea Danny Ainge did IT dirty how dare he.....trade a player for another player, matter fact he was the 3rd most important piece of that package by the way but we’re the ones who should of paid him 30 million because of loyalty right right

The guy crying about loyalty was the guy praying that the guy who created that mess in Cleveland and is bouncing on them a second time chooses Philadelphia

Foh
