or just take your time and search the hood for a house that needs work...its plenty of cribs in the hood that need work thats like $20k, clean and clear.......make it into a duplex with a bit of time. and rent out part of it while living in the other part of it.
that way you get rent money, you got your own money that your stacking....find another house that needs work.....move in and rent out the second part of the first house while fixing up the second house....

now you have 2 units generating income...you living somewhere else....

rinse and repeat.

dont overlook the hood as being a starting point to financial freedom

This is good advice. But one potential obsticle is occupancy.

Depending on where The property is, it can be real hard getting reliable tenants.

I've seen it happen all too often.

you have a point.....its just takes more time in poorer hoods.
but once i got a tenant....i tried to treat them well to make them want to stay.

like, i dont charge them rent in december.
 
My uncle 7ft tall and cant see for shit nigga done smacked his head on the light fixture thats hanging down from the ceiling atleast 4x in the last hr and a half lmao its like he keep forgettin its there so he keep walking into it. I should of been recording this shit so i could make a compilaton
