Could very well be true. Like I said I'm not the one hearing or saying this. Heard it from a Sixers fan whose opinion I trust more than most Sixers fan. Hes been following the Fultz story closely. I honestly havent been paying much attention.

The ringer said it in an article 2 weeks ago when colangelo "resigned"
after Fultz struggled in his workout with the Sixers last June, league sources say some Sixers front-office members suggested that despite making the trade, the team should have taken a second look at Tatum or Lonzo Ball. But the idea was shot down by Colangelo, according to sources. Fultz was the choice. There was no turning back.

ainge finessed colangelo, duke trash and got that gig cuz of the usual whitey nepotism.

The celtics wanted jackson or tatum the whole time.Jackson blew them off so they went with tatum

well its prefaced with "word out" so that could be smoke and mirrors hoping the sixers didnt draft ball
That's a cop out. Fultz had good workouts. Colangelo will go on record making one of the worst draft pick trades ever with Danny Ainge( as of now) of course they want to separate him from everyone else in that Sixers front office, its a logical political move.

Here's the thing, why get into the Top 5? We're set at those positions, and I'd rather take the shot on either Porter and Bridges who more than likely will still be available at 10.

Shit's funny though. Back n the old IC how many niggas was at Ainge's neck saying he shouldn't of traded out that pick and should of took Fultz.

In addition to having made Schroder available, the Hawks have also been motivated to move Kent Bazemore – their other highest-paid player – since last summer, sources tell Jake Fischer of SI.com. Fischer adds that Atlanta is currently viewed as the most active team on the “explorative” draft trade market.

The Hawks have made Dennis Schroder available in trades, league sources tell Jeremy Woo of SI.com. However, according to Woo, the point guard has been difficult to move due to concerns about his attitude, along with the $46.5MM remaining on his contract.

Schroder had already been considered a trade candidate due to comments he made earlier in the offseason. As we detailed last month, the 24-year-old expressed a desire to compete for a title and a dissatisfaction with the Hawks’ performance in the 2017/18 season. While reports at the time indicated that Schroder hadn’t formally asked for a trade, he didn’t sound like a player excited about the prospect about going through a rebuild in Atlanta.

Schroder averaged a career-best 19.4 PPG last season to go along with 6.2 APG and 3.1 RPG. Typically, when a player entering his mid-20s is producing at that level and is under team control for three more years at a relatively affordable rate ($15.5MM annually), he’s a building block for a rebuilding franchise, rather than a trade chip. However, the Hawks’ current management group didn’t draft or extend Schroder and may not be attached to him. Additionally, the point guard’s hints that he wants out of Atlanta don’t bode well for a long-term union.

Complicating matters further is Schroder’s pending legal case. He was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge last September, with Georgia officials recommending in Marchthat he be prosecuted for felony aggravated battery. Schroder figures to face disciplinefrom his team and/or the league when that case is resolved.

The Hawks’ ability to find a taker for Schroder could have an impact on their draft plans this week. As Woo writes in his mock draft, the team is believed to be high on Trae Young. Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders corroborates this account, writing that more and more league sources believe Young is the Hawks’ top target. If Atlanta uses the No. 3 pick on Young, or trades down to select him, it would negatively affect the club’s leverage in trade talks involving Schroder.

Not sure who Jonathan Givony or Jason Smith are but if this is true we now know who Philly is gonna draft. SMH

See if Frank Knitty sparks any interest, I mean what type of interest will Wiggins collect around the league with that contract? That contract is right up the Knicks alley send Frank, Noah, a protected pick maybe one of those average veteran wings and then draft Collin Sexton

Everyone’s bitching in Minnesota, it is a wack trade but I don’t think Minny will get anything significant for him, New York came to mind but they will be lottery bound and have a ton of cap room next year they might as well just be patient, Toronto is a horrible fit but he’s from there and they need to shake things up, maybe they can get a third team and work something out with Valucciunas

Wishful thinking lol

Of course that would grade out better for the heat they're giving up four players. they would pretty much gut half their team to get Kawhi Leonard for one year. that's the issue with anyone trading for him he's not promising any team and extension or new contract after next season it's a huge Gamble for any team.
