Yall correct me if im wrong but wasnt Wiggins expected to be an elite defender?

I remember people saying the Cavs shouldnt have traded him for Love cause he could have been Brons Pippen with the defense.

How does he go from that to possibly the worst defender at his position?

Yeah it's not the most desirable contract but it's definitely moveable due to how young he is, being locked up for 5 more years and still having some potential

Some team that struggles to get free agents would take a chance on him if/when he becomes available

I’m not giving up on Wiggins just yet though, granted he hasn’t lived up to expectations but he’s been good overall. And he still has upside. But so far he’s been Rudy Gay 2.0 smh.

Dont forget this the same dude that was killing it in a game in highschool but the announcer and score keeper kept putting the points under someone elses name and he couldnt even walk over to dude and tell him he had the wrong guy.
