Soooooooooo du story time, my new account, a chick from 2007 works here, literally the year before me and my wife hooked up. And that's exactly how I carried it with her. We chilled for a while..I told her my intentions. Told her I wasn't tryns be nobody man, I just like having a good time. She was like that's cool .. She's going for her master's and wasn't tryna catch feelings either.


Well she caught feelings, and I respectfully peaced out. Fast forward 19 years.... We working together, and she was joking with her girls on how I ghosted her... And I'm like be for real.... You were on career mode, I respected it.. You told me you didn't want distractions... And after we had the mutual conversation of me being a possible distraction, I made an executive decision on both of our best interests. Nobody time was ever wasted cuz we had fun while it lasted.

Her girls all looked at her like..... Well


I was like, did we have fun? She said yes.
Was I disrespectful, dishonest, or completely up front? She admitted I was up front.

I just laughed and said, alright... As long as you know. I never tried to ghost you, you were cool peoples then, and we still cool now, right?

You just gotta keep chicks honest... And you gotta keep it the same way

I feel what ya'll saying, but people move different these days. Every time I talk to single people in their late 20s or 30s, I come away like "WTF is wrong with ya'll."

It seems like a lot of men and women don't even enjoy the company of the opposite sex these days, so from that mindset, I actually understand why a dude would be so upfront.
