Temps in Phoenix during the summer can regularly hit over 115 and peak at 120 (Seville could never) and thanks to the monsoon season (~July - September) you can also see humidity as high as 60%. @Young_Chitlin and @Bender Rodriguez can attest to this.

Temps in Vegas can easily hit 110 and will sit at 110+ for days or even weeks on end and top out around 118 in the summer and since it also gets a monsoon season around the same time, you also get humidity that can land between 30-50%. @Turf knows what I'm talmbout.
