I feel like I could get a better package from another team for tyler

If not now then at the deadline

In terms of what?

Tyler is an expiring contract and wants to get paid....idk how many teams have the ability and are willing to give up multiple assets in order to do that

Like a young prospect in Holland and an unprotected 1st......have to remember Holland still probably has first round value around the league

Idk what kind of package you would think Herro would command?

See below

Or above?

And what makes me say this is due to the bucks having Rollins, kasparas, Green, ament, Burries, Jaquez, Dieng, Markovic and ware

Idk how much I care for holland and Duncan

Well the primary asset in this for the Bucks is an unprotected first....Duncan is simply expiring salary filler and Holland is your young prospect

I think thats sufficient for Tyler Herro on an expiring contract

Also a team having those players you listed and being like "we're good on young talent" would be insane lol

lol I’m not that high on holland

Just send Tyler to any other team for a young player and matching salary and a unprotected first and I’ll probably like it more

Not for me cause 0 chance he leaves no matter how much he threatens them. And no way they trade him unless he specifically asks to be traded.

Well its a lot of layers to this imo

Jokic is eligible for an extension...can add 4 more years and a ton of money. He also could've extended last summer

He has a player option for the 27-28 season....can still extend in season if he declines

In his own words Jokic said "I plan on signing an extension next summer and being with the Nuggets rest of my career"

So what that means is between now and Summmer 2027 no extension will be signed and essentially Nikola Jokic will enter some form of unrestricted free agency.......these situations really dont happen like that anymore especially for someone like Jokic who has been viewed as the most loyal, no drama guy possible and now he's actually putting immense pressure on the Nuggets which is a good thing

Of course the odds are Jokic sticks around with Denver but anything can happen between now and next summer especially when unrestricted free agency is involved

Doesn't matter if you like Holland or not, its about how the league views him lol

Im not that high on Tyler Herro and neither is the league....I think this is a good offer for him.

Like I said whoever trades for Herro is also trading for the right to pay him also, hes on an expiring contract...thats a massive factor

The league ain’t high on holland 😌

I can assure you a top 5 pick from 2 years ago on rookie scale contract still has first round value right now despite the playoffs not being great for him
Yeah the league is clamoring for a crashout who shoots 24% from 3

I would rather trade Klay and max Christie and a first over that nasty ass Detroit package

Just like the league is clamoring and lining up to trade for a 6th man shooting guard who thinks hes a number 1 option and is on an expiring contract lol

Sure you can come up with better trades but they aren't realistic and dont make sense

Im talking about things that are actually plausible and would make sense for both teams

Plenty of teams could off a better package of pick, prospect, matching salary....but how many would do that for Tyler Herro?

You're acting like its an outlandish trade scenario and teams should be willing to give up multiple premium assets for an expiring Herro contract lol
