Monday Night Raw (7/6)

I’m still not totally convinced about some of this. We still have the NY show in between Summerslam. I feel like somethings up. Maybe Punk turns on Cody & costs him the match tonight. And we get Punk vs Sami at SNME. Cody will become the #1 since he would have been screwed. That way we get the start of a heel Punk run. Idk tho

It would but cool as fuck if Punk turned on Cody as opposed to him just accidentally costing him the title. After that I don’t want Sami involved anymore. If Trick wasn’t busy with Melo I’d say he would be the perfect choice to face Sami and have that feud come full circle.
 
There's no real "great" outcome for all of this. Sami retains...then what? If Punk returns...does a Punk vs Sami match scream Night 2 main event? Not to me.

Cody...if he wins...vs a possible Punk maybe. Shyt like this is why I don't rack my brain over to figure. Just let the cards fall and sort it out afterwards.
