Lestat mentioned in the first episode a catastrophic event that almost wiped out the Y chromosome.... That lines up with her mission in the books .... If they changed what her mission is, it would have to make a whole lotta sense.... Because I expect her to be on the same time as the novels.

I actually didn't like Armand being the first Rashid.... But it's still was a cool reveal and intro, and he's been great since.

I still do hope they change up more of how Akasha comes in. I'd like to see her just destroy shit for awhile lol

I hope they saved most of the special effects budget for her.

Also I've heard mad theories that Lestat was in. Raglan's body in the first episode. I hated that theory too. That would suck
 
I been enjoying this season just as much as the others.

the worst part about this season is Gabriella 🤷🏽‍♂️

still enjoyable overall tho to me. They are giving backstory, world building, character development.. im satisfied

I don't know what y'all enjoy. I agree his mom is the worst of the worst.
 
Gabrielle is definitely a character you're not supposed to like, and I'm torn between genuinely not liking her and wondering if it's just the actress being great at her assignment
 
I'm not sure what they're doing with Gabriella in the show. They've kind of made her be that person that's known you the longest but you don't really talk but then when they do show up they act like they never left. Like she wants to antagonize Lestat but also just fuck with him... and also.. lol

I can't remember much of her from like book 1-5 because I think she just went her own way a lot
 
Naw, she was not in the books like that....

And most of my early online experiences with these books was myself and others always wondering what kinda adventures Gabrielle got into that we never hear about.

It was heavily implied she was like a vampire Lara Croft... Just exploring the world and doing things she could never do as a human.

Her being a manipulative agent for the great conversion and being a hyper sexual troll was not on the bingo card for me

QOTD movie has it redeeming qualities.

The music was perfect for the times.... Having a goth band like korn do the soundtrack was awesome.

Aaliyah of course in an iconic role.

And even though he had black hair, I low key liked that version of Lestat as well.

Hated Marius and how they made him Lestat maker

Hated how they really just skipped over so much of TVL the book.

Hated how they made Jesse a love interest.

They essentially erased a whole twin.

Yeah, Armand is proof that we don't need more vampires... He's way to broken to live forever. And most people who hit 500+ years are prolly gonna be the same way.
