Paramount + The Chi (Season 8)

Random but I hate the lighting on this episode
I had to wait until it was night to watch the episode. Watched it in complete darkness.

But yeah the episode was meh and exposed just how nasty the circle of Baby Mamas/ Daddy's really is. Keisha at her engagement party asking her Fiancé ex-wife about the whereabouts of her Baby Daddy whom the ex-wife was coupled up with.

I also dont understand the reasoning for Tiff to tell big mouth Bikari she killed Nuck. Then also feeling so guilty for killing him that she tells Keisha "I owe you".

Vastly disappointed in the latest episode.

I thought that the shooter chick was related to Kyla Pratt’s character but actually Karuechi and the lady who works at Emmett’s restaurant are her sisters

So the fact that Jackie the hit woman was over there playing spades and Kyla Pratt’s husband Hannibal is in protective custody hiding from REGGIE is even more ridiculous

Damn can't believe I missed that

Because the 63rd street mob is the only mob without opps lol

They don’t even get into beefs
I mean they don’t show them but they have opps like the dude who Trig killed for shooting Reggie and early on Jake was getting in fights with other gangs.

But they seem less like gang bangers and more like a drug/ random
Crime crew .

I don’t even understand how the hierarchy works because it seemed like Alecia and her brother were like the top of the food chain along with the the guy who killed Coogie’s friend and some OG in prison who got Brandon killed .

That gang fell apart like this show

These are two different shows

U gotta differentiate between the first 2 seasons and the last 6

This is a fact

I hate what they did to Jake cause clearly Jake was going to be a gangster

Then I’m confused how REGGIE wanted to be protective of his brother but then he also was a horrible influence who was turning him out

Douda’s fixation on Jake was weird and then all of a sudden after wanting to help kill Trice in season one was soft or softer

And now he’s just a ladies man with the aesthetic of a gang banger

Here's another reason why she shouldn't be surprised. I forgot Nuk threatened Bakari by telling him that he'll unalive him. Although, Bakari didn't but if he did, then he would've had right to do so.

Had they just dropped him off on a street somewhere that d been the end of that

I’m waiting for the episode to hit h the free streaming sites so I can watch it

Keisha getting on my nerves. And they been playing all the jams, felt like I was more into the music than the actual show. And tiff ain't feeling trig like that at all. About the time the detective come back
