This makes me respect Larry Bird even more bcuz he faced all this shit too and let his play on the court shut everybody up. He even deaded that shit with Zeke nationally before it festered into what we are seeing now.

I don't think CC or Angel are fueling this stuff either though, they just hoop. Really the W has had a big issue with Vets vs young players for about 10 years going. Clark just gets under their skin because they act hurt that the league wasn't popular for about 20 years before this new crop came up. Then you have weirdos on social media but only a fraction of people actually even read that shit.

The NBA didn't have that issue, Kareem and Dr J weren't hating on Magic or Bird when they took games off tape delay lol. The NBA embraced Showtime vs Slowtime, I don't get how the W has fucked this opportunity up so much. Half is not most of Clark, Angel, Paige, Olivia, etc fans are under 25. So we talking lot of kids and teenagers who are the future of the W, and the league nor Vets is handling it right.

I'm on my way out, so I can't go back and forth, but we are gonna have to agree to disagree. Jealousy ain't got shit to do with this. The issue I'm having with her is that she's playing the victim role when she is just as much an instigator as everyone else. Bird didn't whine like a little bitch, he fought back and earned his respect.

By not addressing the racism head on and make it clear that CC and her team doesn't want to be associated with it. I know she's said a couple times in interviews but if she's not going to be more assertive about right wing propagandist using CC as a proxy for their racism then the league needs to step up and do it. And they're failing miserably

Why would they though? If one thing MAGA is good for it’s viewership and spending bread

The league won’t say it out loud but they loving the influx MAGA dickheads in the WNBA business

I get why they haven't. Im just saying them not speaking on it is allowing things to get where they are now. I mean there's no way CC isn't aware of the commentary around this. And as an athlete she should be insulted that people are calling for so many specific considerations be made for her or for her to leave tje wnba over some hard fouls
