Pressure on Denver to do something about to increase

Jokic extension in the cut.....if Im him I would take this to free agency next year and see what the front office does before I sign anything

He can just take the extension and ask for a trade. No reason to leave money on the table unless he really just can't stand it in Denver anymore and the situation is untenable. Indicate you need to see moves happen, sign the extension and immediately put the organization on a 6-12 month doomsday clock.

He can just take the extension and ask for a trade. No reason to leave money on the table unless he really just can't stand it in Denver anymore and the situation is untenable. Indicate you need to see moves happen, sign the extension and immediately put the organization on a 6-12 month doomsday clock.

I think its better to sign after you've applied pressure and see what moves are done

The money will always be there but front offices get too comfortable and relaxed once the ink is dry

Boston might have really fucked up

Regardless of how they went out in the playoffs they still had a very good team and formula that would win then a ton of games and Tatum pretty much missed majority of the year

Its not like they needed to do anything drastic, healthy Tatum and a couple of moves around the margin and they could've won the East again

Now they might have ruined a good thing

Anderson is an interesting prospect but being geeked about him while calling Reed Sheppard Bryn Forbes is crazy

He is exactly who I had in mind when I said yesterday that these contracts are gonna cause owners to fall back eventually.

Yeah but if he signs with another team he has to sign for less. Why punish yourself because your team is doing a poor job? Jokic has enough respect in the league to dictate where he's traded and give a preferred destination list.
