Tommy Dreamer is out as TNA's head of creative.

Tommy Dreamer said that he and Carlos Silva had a conversation regarding his departure this week. Some TNA sources said they knew the move was coming in recent weeks, but expected it to happen after TNA Slammiversary.

Fightful immediately heard from industry sources that Road Dogg had been discussed within TNA as a potential replacement for Tommy Dreamer. Road Dogg left WWE earlier this year.

😆😆
They need to go ahead and give me the book lol couldn't be any worse than the retreads they got floating around.

What's raven doing? Somebody get him on the phone. They had the wrong guy from that feud.

I feel like the majority of us here could do at least half as good as whoever’s been in TNA the last 20 years lol

I only want the book to bring back the 6 sided ring. Let Jeff Jarret tell it, they were killing it at toy stores with that play set.

Revitalize the knockout division and the x division, and now youve got TNAs identify back.

Then focus on tag team wrestling since that's a lost art. And you're in business.

6 sided ring is what made them different and so dope but the talent hated it

The belief among those we've spoken with is that currently, Delirious will head up TNA Creative.

There's always a chance there are more names brought onto the team with the departure of Tommy Dreamer, but we are told Delirious is the point person moving forward.

PWInsider.com can sadly confirm that although he was in NYC yesterday, WWE's Danhausen is not in attendance at the New York Knick's NBA Championship parade in NYC today. That seems like a major missed opportunity in my opinion. I have heard from friends at the parade that there were a number of Danhausen shirts being worrn by Knicks fans today.

Chad Gable is in a promising spot.

Chad Gable recently unmasked after his run as El Grande Americano and appears to be getting a push on WWE TV. In addition, Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that there are several within WWE pushing for Gable to have a prominent presence at Summerslam in his hometown of Minneapolis.

Wrestlevotes Radio also reports that on the other side of things, Fanatics is "flabbergasted" at the performance of the auction for the El Grande Americano mask. The move has them brainstorming other ring worn merchandise ideas, including some that could be bid on even before a match takes place.

When aggregating, please wait a responsible amount of time before posting, and please credit Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select. We ask that you also tag either Wrestlevotes or Fightful on social media or link.

Is.. it finally happening? Will see

Now this mofo has become WWE most over talent in the company. Merchandise. Mainstream. Fan favorite.

I can't fault AEW for not utilizing him in this manner. He didn't fit their fan base. But WWE suits him PERFECTLY.

Nah AEW fucked up not utilizing in the same manner. He’s definitely better suited for WWE but there’s no real reason TK couldn’t use him in a similar fashion. Just look at a guy like Simply OJ.

TK just didn’t fuck with Danhausen like that after Punk left.

With the departure of Tommy Dreamer, Eric Tompkins, who is Vice President of TV Production will be working hand in hand in Hunter "Delirious' Johnston on creative. One person described it to me as they would be co-heads of creative but I don't have that 100% confirmed. There's been buzz about others being brought onto the team making the rounds but within TNA, so far, we are told nothing has been put into place in that regard.

There were quite a few people really broken-hearted about yesterday's departures. The production side was hit fairly hard with numerous exits. A few people have questioned to me how much money the company could actually be making off the AMC TV deal if once again they are streamlining and letting people go, and it's a fair question to ask. There's never been any official word thrown around about how much the company was getting for rights fees, if any, from the deal.

TNA and Ohio Valley Wrestling are circling a working relationship, PWInsider.com can confirm.

We are told the two sides are working towards an agreement that would OVW become what would be essentially a developmental system for TNA. That agreement is set to be signed very soon.

TNA President Carlos Silva has been in attendance at a number of OVW events, according to sources within OVW. He was expected at the promotion's recent 1400th TV episode celebration but was not in attendance.

More as we confirm.
