People just have to accept that word has been co-opted. Changing a popular character's color just for diversity sake is basically exactly what the word "woke" has come to mean.

I understand why people might not like Idris contributing to that, but it doesn't make him a coon. He's just not willing to fight that particular battle.

People have accepted it's coopted...but it's still gonna piss them off especially when a Black person does it.
