Bruh. Asians have specifically been used to oppress black people by proxy. They were given loans after the civil rights movement to open small businesses but they had to open them in black and low income neighborhoods. And that method is continued since then till today. It's just a way to control the black and poc dollar. As the store owners it makes them feel closer to white people and they start aligning with racist and oppressive ideals.
That man felt comfortable to shoot that kid because of his alignment to whiteness.
I got convenience store on the main floor of my apartment building. My Korean homie who lived in a next building was chopping it up with them and found out the method. Shit is a whole pyramid. Cause in Toronto most of the convenience stores are operated by Koreans. The people at the top buy or lease properties, they have links with companies to get product wholesale for the low, link with churches to find people who want to put money in. They put money in and get to run a store and get kicked a certain amount and that amount raises over years, and they will move the best performers to stores in affluent locations if someone moves on, retires, gets kicked out or demoted. Its been like 3 different korean families running the store all the time I've lived here. They have an entire system in place.
