Yeah, that's the simplified layman analysis. I've been talking from a gameplanning perspective since the beginning. Spurs were the benefactors of a wide FTA discrepancy and horrendous Knicks shooting and the lead was slim. Knicks were getting clean looks on the perimeter consistently and just not dropping them. Everything about it said rust.

However, the Spurs were nailing shots and Victor was going crazy defensively so folks were saying Spurs were playing well while I was pointing out they were getting carved up off the ball and in rotations.

The Knicks can still lose this game but there's a lot of good shit happening on film to walk away with afterwards. The shots will fall eventually.
